I am Chris, driving instructor covering Poole and Bournemouth.

If you are a nervous driver, or perhaps have never driven before, I’m sure you want to learn how to pass your driving test as safely and quickly as possible, I can help you.

You don’t need to take a year to pass your driving test and if you are a little bit frightened of driving, I can show you how to conquer your nerves and get your driving licence.

On your very first lesson, you’ll be learning how to drive – usually inside the first 30 minutes!

You will be able see your skills develop and we can plan to take your driving test at a time to suit your needs.

I work for my own driving school, I Want to Drive,  and offer the ideal mix of driving instruction and coaching.

I use a manual Corsa C, which is nice and comfortable and offers great visibility all round.

We have great fun in the car,  lessons are well structured, and you will need to work hard!

I offer instruction to new drivers, instruction to those who have to take an extended test (for what ever reason), remedial driving, refresher courses, help with the theory test, and to those who just have an issue with a particular part of their driving, parallel parking perhaps!!!

Schools in the area include Lytchett Minster School, Poole Grammar, Parkstone Grammar, Poole and Bournemouth College, Bournemouth University, Poole High School, Canford School, Bournemouth School for Girls, Bournemouth School for Boys, Ashdown Technology Centre, Carter Community School, Corfe Hills School, Rossmore Community College, and St Edwards School.

In South Dorset there are some great road junctions that will test your driving skills. But we will only introduce you to them when you are ready!  Kinson Double roundabouts, Redhill Gyratory System, Clock House Roundabout, County Gates Roundabout, Bear Cross Roundabout and Canford Bottom Roundabout are all great road junctions, and Ashley Road, Winton and Charminster High Streets will keep you on your toes.

If everyone drove on them as they should, kept to their lanes and used their eyes, there would be no problems.

Mainly I use Bournemouth Driving Test Centre, but also Dorchester and Salisbury Centres can be used for pupils.

Did you know there are only 3 Areas to learn in Driving?  Control, Accuracy and Observation.  How easy is that?

I am an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor), offering Pass Plus.

The Pass Plus scheme is aimed at new drivers to help them become better drivers. To join Pass Plus you need to find an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) to train you, that could be me! I will help you complete the six training modules to pass the training course.
