Event Works was formed in May 2000 by Chris Wood, an experienced and highly motivated event manager.
With more than 25 years experience in the industry, working on all sides of the exhibition fence, he leads a highly experienced team that is able to help any organisation with their event or exhibition attendance, making it more profitable, exciting and enjoyable for all concerned.
The whole team can amass some 90 years experience in the event industry and are capable of working with ideas from the floor up. This is reflected in our memory hook, from event concept to reality.
We offer a number of services…
1. Event Management, help and assistance to organisers.
If you need help, it could be just a phone call or email away.
Tell us what you need and we will see what we can do to help you. We offer a high level of professional support to event organisers, from traffic management plans to gate assistance to staff.
2. Exhibition Etiquette, what are you supposed to do when you spend hundreds, or even thousands, on an exhibition stand? This high profile, respected and interactive training seminar will be run at your premises for groups from 1 to 30. If you are responsible for the exhibition attendance of your company, just think how good you will look, to your bosses and your customers, if your on stand performance is increased in relation to your pre set event objectives. We can help you do it. At a cost of just £119 per person (minimum number of 5 staff, 50% deposit payable in advance, plus travel and subsistence costs as incurred) and at your premises (saving travel time) you know it makes financial sense to invest in your staff’s time at any exhibition.
3. Risk Management, Health and Safety, Risk Assessments & Public Liability are all words on the lips of every one, from ambulance chasing solicitors to insurance brokers, venue owners to organisers themselves. We specialise in transport and aviation events and can help in most cases to make your life a little easier by carrying out a simple, but professional,competent and cost effective Risk Assessment on your venue or event.
4. Dorset Car Club, the car club for the car enthusiast. If you like cars, driving and going to shows and talking to people about your wheels, this is the club for you. No matter the marque, you will be welcome.
